AHEPA CUP 2019 Beach Volleyball tournament: A Wonderful athletic weekend in Nafpaktos, Greece

The “AHEPA CUP 2019” Beach Volleyball tournament held with success in Nafpaktos Greece (19-21 July), with a fantastic athletic weekend. Overall 25 mixed-doubles teams (50 athletes) participated the event from all over Greece, with competitive games for the entire weekend.

Loyal to its appointment with sports and youth, the Nafpaktos chapter “AHEPA – Lepanto 1571” (HJ-18) organized the Beach Volley Tournament under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of sports and co-organizers the municipality of Nafpaktos, the Western Greece District and the “Omonoia Nafpaktou” sports club. The event was supported by AHEPAHellas (District 25)and was an official beach volleyball event of the Hellenic VolleyballAssociation.

The awarding ceremony was made by the AHEPA Hellas vice President Mr. Kostas Varsamis (district 25), PDG Mr. Tarambikos Giannis (District 6 Chapter 95 Delaware), Vice President Mr. Samartzis Antonis (District 5 Chapter 495, Whitestone NY) and various local municipality and region officers.

The local chapter “AHEPA Lepanto-1571” (District 25, HJ-18) has renewed its sports appointment for summer 2020.
